At the same time as I love a physical keyboard, after coping with the Samsung Captivate for approximately 15 minutes, it's laborious to head back. Right now I am debating whether to visit Verizon for the Droid X, go to Dash for the EVO, or stick with AT&T for the Captivate...decisions, decisions.

Soon after having the BACKFLIP in the mail I was happy yo know I could update the new firmware. I missed the rush, and it was lucky. I've had the Backflip for over a 30 days a number of details 3 or 4 crashes in a 30 days not undesirable for 15-20 apps open New WIFI things, and a bigger edge dada than earlier Nokia E61 and N93 Great that the BACKFLIP features a flex keyboard, the screen is a bit tough on the edges. You get 500 messages per day from Twitter, Facebook, Yaho, and who ever else yopu want. If you've got 30-60 accurate pals, this is a great phone if you might have a lot more it'll grab as well significantly facts. Just a 30 days but a great cell phone.

I hadn't started up roadmaps, despite the fact that had applied them per day or two before however the mobile phone had been rebooted because then. Checking about the about function showed that maps had been the lead to of 70% with the total battery drain. Naturally I killed it, nonetheless it keeps restarting. Now I do not would like to uninstall Yahoo and google roadmaps since it truly is a genuinely useful purpose and have employed it successfully as saatnav on many occasions and observed it being much more uptodate and precise than my dedicated satnav. But is there a setting somewhere that I could tweak to stop it from commencing up except when I start out it myself? Operating a process killer over a scheduled basis and having it kill roadmaps is not a fix for me, as what takes place when I wish to use it and locate it being killed often.

I am a latest Omnia (910) user on Verizon who was incredibly disappointed with Windows Mobile 6.1 and Samsung's shell. Wound up buying SPB Mobile Shell to acquire a usable interface and had to abandon Exchange email due to security restrictions. Essentially anytime you tried to place or acquire a call, you had to enter your PIN and I was missing calls to be a outcome. Lastly made a decision to abandon smartphones for your time being (economic causes) and wait for an excellent Android unit. The Galaxy S (Facinate) must fit the bill. Disappointed to hear with the GPS problems. Let me add that Verizon's 3G service was excellent through and I at some point stopped applying WiFi since V3G was a lot fast enough for me.Interestingly, I'm employing the Omnia being a wireless device all around the home for checking electronic mail, Twitter, Facebook and simple browsing. But not as a telephone!

I think the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is a really great phone, even with Android 1.6, but I am really looking forward to Android 2.1 and Multitouch, as the X10 will be awesome then.
