Another low-end phone from LG called LG KV230 is heading to China. Atrrive in a candybar design, LG KV230 packs a QVGA 2.4-inch TFT display. Including a 950 mAh battery, the whole unit only tipping scale at 95 grams.

Can’t expect too much feature from a low-end phone but at least LG KV230 has music player as well as an FM tuner. The phone works with the CDMA EV-DO Rev.0 network.

I am a latest Omnia (910) user on Verizon who was incredibly disappointed with Windows Mobile 6.1 and Samsung’s shell. Wound up buying SPB Mobile Shell to acquire a usable interface and had to abandon Exchange email due to security restrictions. Essentially anytime you tried to place or acquire a call, you had to enter your PIN and I was missing calls to be a outcome. Lastly made a decision to abandon smartphones for your time being (economic causes) and wait for an excellent Android unit. The Galaxy S (Facinate) must fit the bill. Disappointed to hear with the GPS problems. Let me add that Verizon’s 3G service was excellent through and I at some point stopped applying WiFi since V3G was a lot fast enough for me.Interestingly, I’m employing the Omnia being a wireless device all around the home for checking electronic mail, Twitter, Facebook and simple browsing. But not as a telephone!
I hadn’t started up roadmaps, despite the fact that had applied them per day or two before however the mobile phone had been rebooted because then. Checking about the about function showed that maps had been the lead to of 70% with the total battery drain. Naturally I killed it, nonetheless it keeps restarting. Now I do not would like to uninstall Yahoo and google roadmaps since it truly is a genuinely useful purpose and have employed it successfully as saatnav on many occasions and observed it being much more uptodate and precise than my dedicated satnav. But is there a setting somewhere that I could tweak to stop it from commencing up except when I start out it myself? Operating a process killer over a scheduled basis and having it kill roadmaps is not a fix for me, as what takes place when I wish to use it and locate it being killed often.
