Next Gen iPhone is Coming

After the uncertain news about the founded iPhone prototype in a bar in Redwood City last week, finally GFizmodo decided to disassembled it to see its hardware. Surprisingly after examining its perfect build and impressive features, Gizmodo finally says that the phone is indeed a prototype of the next gen of iPhone. iPhone 4G ?
And here are what Gizmodo found inside:
• Internals components are shrunken, miniaturized and reduced
• 16% Larger battery
• Slightly smaller screen than the 3GS (but seemingly higher resolution)
• Improved display with possibility of 960×460 resolution.
• Front-facing video chat camera
• Improved regular back-camera (the lens is quite noticeably larger than the iPhone 3GS)
• Camera flash
• Micro-SIM instead of standard SIM (like the iPad)
• Improved display. It’s unclear if it’s the 960×460 display thrown around before—it certainly looks like it, with the “Connect to iTunes” screen displaying much higher resolution than on a 3GS.
• What looks to be a secondary mic for noise cancellation, at the top, next to the headphone jack
• Split buttons for volume
• Power, mute, and volume buttons are all metallic
• An aluminum border going completely around the outside
Those specs and the fact that according to the person who found it, this iPhone was running iPhone OS 4.0 before the iPhone 4.0 announcement, Gizmodo can say that this is definitely the iPhone 4G prototype. [Gizmodo]
