A new Android phone from Samsung called Samsung Gem SCH-i100 announced officially by Samsung USA. Samsung Gem runs Android 2.1 Eclair and will be available via Verizon. Samsung Gem sport a 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen display and powered by a 800MHz processor. It is packs a 3.2MP camera and a microSD card slot. The phone also support Swype virtual keyboard. No words on release date and pricing so far.

Samsung unveiled the Samsung Infuse 4G phone today at CES 2011. The phone will be available via AT&T where release date is expected to be sometime in 2nd quarter 2011 while its price still undisclosed. Infuse 4G comes in a slim design with a large 4.5-inch Super-AMOLED Plus touchscreen display. The Super-AMOLED Plus touchscreen is claimed packs 50% more sub-pixels original AMOLED display to offer better contrast and outdoor readability. Samsung Infuse 4G runs on Android 2.2 OS and powered by a 1.2GHz processor. This Samsung’s Android phones also packs a 8MP rear facing camera which equipped with LED flash and able to capture HD video and a 1.2MP front facing camera. Oh, and of course Infuse 4G support HSDPA+ connectivity because that’s what 4G refer to.
